Meet Harvey!
Harvey’s journey with beekeeping began early in life. Starting with just two hives in his parents' garden, he quickly transitioned from helping out to taking full responsibility for the bees.
In his final year at school, Harvey chose beekeeping as a study option and realized it was more than just a hobby—it was his future. After leaving school in 2023 at the age of 16, he devoted himself to growing his business. Harvey now manages approximately 100 hives and focuses on improving local bee genetics by investing in high-quality breeding stock.
Based in the stunning Highlands of Scotland, Harvey operates apiaries of various sizes across the region. His honey can be found in stores throughout the Highlands and Scottish Isles, as well as online, bringing a taste of the Highlands to customers far and wide.
With a passion for sustainable practices and a vision for the future, Harvey is committed to producing exceptional honey while supporting the health and resilience of local bee populations.

By focusing on breeding calm bees, we create a stress-free environment for both the bees and the beekeepers. This makes handling safer and more enjoyable, especially for beginners who can confidently start their beekeeping journey with gentle, well-tempered bees.
Our locally bred bees are the same ones we rely on in our apiaries, ensuring buyers receive bees perfectly suited for the Highlands and surrounding areas. Through advanced techniques like artificial insemination, we carefully combine the best traits from our breeder queens to produce high-quality bees that deliver exceptional results.
